The Burrell Theatre is Truro's hidden gem. With a seating capacity of 200 or a standing capacity of 350, the auditorium is very adaptable. From intimate theatre in the round, to battle of the bands type shows, we have accommodated almost any scenario for hirers of the theatre. Adaptability is our strength and we are probably the only theatre in Cornwall to have this capability.

The Burrell is run by a small but dedicated team and a crew of very experienced theatre practitioners. Our on-line ticketing system is easy and convenient to use with the ability to send tickets via an sms text message. We have excellent front and rear of house facilities, and our equipment is second to none for the size of the venue. So whether you're hiring or visiting, the experience should be a pleasant one.

The Burrell Theatre also has full disabled access and facilities. Plus an induction loop system for hard of hearing and a large free car park.
